Over the past few decades, the world has seen a lot of dramatic social, political, environmental, and economic changes. Despite these disruptions and fluctuations, the travel industry remained resilient and demonstrated steady growth across the sector until 2020.  For the first time in its history, an entire industry came to a standstill for over a year. The current pandemic has provided an opportunity for governments and the private sector to pause and reflect on both its successes and failures, allowing us to rethink tourism policies and new government systems that incorporate sustainability, capacity and, most importantly, the protection of local communities.

ForwardKeys monitors millions of travel bookings daily and transforms this data into powerful insights that help the industry monitor our sector’s health. Olivier will provide us with a brief update on the status of the sector and what to expect in the months to come.
