ForwardKeys is a fast growing B2B travel analytics firm that is nearly 10 years young. We have quickly grown to be a talented team of around 50 staff that creates value by analysing and predicting global travel movements and make that information and insights available to help companies improve their decision making.
We empower businesses around the world by providing access to a near real-time picture of who is travelling where and when, viewing the traveller at each economic stage of their journey. This information is then being complemented with additional datasets and cross-selections to make it relevant for solving the pains of specific industry segments.
We are looking for a VP Sales that helps us keep our annual growth rate at 40-45%, bring us to the next level as a sales-driven organisation and prepares future opportunities by expanding into new markets and client-groups.
Develop and execute plans – you will liaise between the HQ team in Valencia and the guys ‘in the field’ striving for high revenue growth by setting out your plans in line with the company strategy.
Train, motivate and grow the sales team. Managing over 8 sales representatives in different parts of the world and growing, you will develop training schemes and incentive programs to help them reach their full potential. With your market knowledge, enthusiasm and energy you will help to attract and shape a team of best-in-class sales force.
Put in place infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales function. The optimization of the Salesforce structure will enable you to manage the use of budgets and provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting.
Collaborate with marketing and product. You will keep track of customer needs and convert this information with other departments as to optimize our solutions. In cooperation with the marketing team you will develop the best go-to-market strategies and lead gen conversion.
Manage key accounts and positioning of ForwardKeys. You will frequently travel the world to visit our most important clients and partners, attend conferences to develop lasting relationships and position ForwardKeys as a reference for global travel intelligence.
- Experience in managing and leading a sales team, in a multinational environment, and in a data analytics company ideally focussed on the Travel Industry.
- Demonstrable success in consistently delivering high annual revenue growth rates and in identifying new business opportunities.
- Successful experience building a go-to-market strategy and corporate sales plan and evaluating progress against both the sales plan and individual sales peoples’ personal goals and plans.
- Experience managing key customer relationships and closing strategic opportunities with six figure annual contract values.
